Betrayal

So this is kinda a W.I.P., as it needs to be shaded, but who knows when I'll do that.

This is meant to be a sort of memorial piece for my most beloved pteranodon in ARK: Survival Evolved, Tart. He was the most beautiful, and most idiotic flier beast that ever existed. I loved him in all of his stupidity, even if he did drive me crazy.

This depicts one specific moment that really just... is Tart in a nutshell. I was standing on a rock, ready to knock out and tame my first ever sabertooth, when all of a sudden, Tart comes up behind me and pushes me off, into a pack of the tigers. He actually did this on multiple occasions. On one occasion, the pack caught and killed me. I panicked and had to steal my friend's pteranodon to go try and find Tart before he was killed. We flew all around searching. I was desperate, because I had such an unhealthy attachment to this virtual animal.

That's when I heard the infamous ARK attack music. He had to be close.

I look around some more and finally spot him. He had landed on the ground and was JUST SITTING THERE as the pack of ~3 sabers and an argentavis were beating him. I whistled frantically for him to follow, and finally, he lept off the ground and flew after me.

That was one of the many times Tart should have died due to his own stupidity but didn't. That was also one of the MANY times he tried to get me killed. I can only assume for his own amusement.

I miss that damn bird.
